About Me

My name is Rahquel Garcon. I was born in Miami, Florida, and raised in Conley, Georgia.

Throughout my academic career, I have found myself most interested in Language Arts and Mathematic subjects. This exemplifies my love for engaging in well-told stories and problem-solving. For example, while dual enrolling at GSU, I unnecessarily took a Pre-Calculus class. I simply like to challenge my brain in fun ways. One can find me listening to my favorite calming music and writing poetry or creative writing or reading and solving mysteries.

In high school, I got involved with the resident all-girls’ group, Journalism Club, a district-wide TV show production, and Future Business Leaders of America.

Outside of school, I spent a lot of time volunteering at my church. I’ve had a lot of fun organizing activities for our children’s ministry, but I spent most of my time with the worship team. I’ve been the worship team leader for about 3 years now.

Most recently, when Covid-19 began to take its toll, I took on more work for my church. I started to get involved with its social media and began posting regularly, as this was not something we were doing before. Over the Summer, my church decided to hire me to do more of this kind of work and take over all media coordination/management for our socials.

I enjoy and have ample experience in marketing as an 18-year-old. I am well written and decently sung. I love God and I love people. Stick around!
